Vintage pieces come from old Italian collections and may show gentle signs of their age. The piece you receive may differ slightly from the one in the photos.
Own an early witness to Padre Pio's cause: a vintage folded holy card titled "Venerabile", printed before his beatification, holding an ex-indumentis relic of the Capuchin saint.
Size: 4 1/4 x 3 inches (7.5 cm)
Material: Vintage original folded paper holy card, from a Catholic convent
Relic: Ex-indumentis relic (a small piece of a vestment) with postulator seal; also touched to the shrine of Saint Pio
Prayers: Italian Prayer to Saint Padre Pio and Chaplet to the Sacred Heart of Jesus inside
Shipping: Ships from Rome, Italy
The photograph shows Pio in profile, absorbed in prayer, and the "Venerabile" caption places this card before 1999, when the Church still called him Venerable. Devotees and collectors value cards from these earlier stages on his road to sainthood.
