How the papal blessing works

An unusual image of St. Francis of Assisi — the saint embracing the crucifix — struck in 925 sterling silver for the animal lover or Franciscan spirit in your life.

  • Size: Small 5/8" - 16mm or Medium 3/4" - 18mm
  • Material: 925 sterling silver; lifetime guarantee finish, will not tarnish
  • Blessing: Blessed by Pope Leo XIV
  • Includes: Organza storage bag
  • Shipping: Ships from Rome, Italy

Patron of Italy, of animals, and of ecology, Francis composed his Canticle of the Sun while ill and nearly blind — praise written in hardship. This medal suits anyone learning to bless what is difficult, and it hangs as easily from a chain as from a rosary.
