This beautiful vintage holy card from a nun estate features a striking image on the front with a vibrant blue sky background depicting St. Anthony of Padua rendered in a delicate line drawing alongside pristine white lilies with golden yellow stamens. The lilies, symbols of purity and St. Anthony's virtue, are photographed with exquisite detail against a naturalistic outdoor setting with trees in the background. The lower portion bears the inscription "S. ANTONIO DI PADOVA" in elegant typography.
The reverse side features the complete Prayer dictated by St. Anthony of Padua in Italian, beginning "Gesù, Signore misericordioso" (Jesus, merciful Lord). This powerful prayer requests Christ's presence, peace, forgiveness, and protection from doubts and fears, while strengthening faith in His Passion and Resurrection. The card bears the Imprimatur dated February 20, 1968, from Patavii (Padua), authenticated by Alf. Battisti, Vic.
