Second-class relic (ex indumentis)

A tiny piece of fabric from the clothing of the saint, sealed in the card.

Relics are never sold: you pay for the item, and the relic comes with it as a gift.

This prayer card with relic commemorates the life of Blessed Fra Leopoldo da Alpandeire, a humble Capuchin friar whose deep spiritual wisdom, humility, and devotion to Our Lady and the poor made him a beloved figure. Born in 1864 in Alpandeire, Málaga, Fra Leopoldo spent over 50 years as a Capuchin friar in Granada, tirelessly offering spiritual advice, almsgiving, and comfort to all who sought him out. His practice of reciting the powerful "Three Hail Marys" for those in need has left a lasting spiritual legacy.

The reverse of the card recounts his holy life and virtues, culminating in his peaceful death in 1956. Fra Leopoldo’s mortal remains rest in the crypt of the Capuchin Convent in Granada, where his tomb continues to attract the faithful seeking his intercession. His cause for sainthood was introduced in 1961, and he was declared Venerable by Pope Benedict XVI in 2008. He was beatified in 2010, a testament to the many miracles attributed to his prayers.

Carrying this prayer card is a way to invite Fra Leopoldo’s intercession into your daily life, trusting in his closeness to God.

This holy card comes from a nun's estate, making it a special and treasured devotional item.

The card may also be blessed by the Pope at St. Peter's Square, enhancing its spiritual significance.
