St. Raphael is one of the three archangels named in Scripture, with Michael and Gabriel.

In the Book of Tobit he walks beside the young Tobias on a long journey, protects him, brings about his marriage to Sarah and heals the blindness of his father Tobit. Only at the end does he reveal who he is: "I am Raphael, one of the seven angels who stand before the Lord." His name means "God heals".
That story is why Catholics turn to him for three things: healing of body and soul, safe travel, and finding a good husband or wife. His feast is September 29, shared with the other archangels.
Our St. Raphael medal is made in 925 sterling silver, blessed by Pope Leo XIV in Rome and shipped with a holy card of the Papal blessing. It is a quiet, lasting gift for someone who is ill, for a traveler, for a doctor or nurse, or for a young person praying about marriage. For more saints of healing see Saints for Healing and the Sick, and for Michael and Gabriel see the Archangels.
