At the end, the Pope gives the apostolic blessing, and it extends to the people present and to the religious objects they carry. Every rosary on this page has been blessed by Pope Leo XIV in this way, and each one ships with a holy card of the Papal blessing. That is what makes it a papal rosary.
A papal blessing is not magic. It sets the rosary apart for prayer and joins your prayer to the prayer of the whole Church. During the General Audience and the Angelus, the Pope gives his Apostolic Blessing to all present and to the religious items they bring, so you can also bring your own rosary when you visit Rome.
The range is wide, from rose petal rosaries for First Communion to St. John Paul II relic rosaries. There are St. Benedict rosaries, Miraculous Medal and mother of pearl rosaries, sparkling crystal, Venetian Murrina glass, Stations of the Cross rosaries, tiny rosaries with a case, and Medjugorje rosaries handmade by nuns. There are also Padre Pio relic rosaries, commemorative rosaries honoring Pope Francis, and a red wood rosary with Pope Leo XIV. This page is part of everything blessed by Pope Leo XIV.
Frequently asked questions
How can I get a rosary blessed by the Pope?
Choose one here that we have already brought to the Papal audience, or bring your own rosary to a General Audience or the Angelus in Rome. Ours ship with a holy card of the Papal blessing.
Does the blessing survive shipping?
Yes. The blessing is given while the rosary is present at the audience, and it stays with the rosary wherever it travels.
What comes with the rosary?
Each rosary ships from Rome with a holy card of the Papal blessing. Delivery to the US typically takes 2 to 3 weeks.
Does a blessed rosary lose its blessing?
No. The blessing stays with the rosary. On our relic rosaries the relic is never sold, it is a gift with the rosary. If a rosary breaks, have it repaired and blessed again, or bury it.
