Religious orders and the postulators of causes for canonization have printed these cards for generations to spread devotion. That is why so many honor Blesseds and Servants of God who are little known outside Italy.
Most of the cards on this page are vintage and pre-owned, and many are one of a kind. St. Padre Pio has by far the most, from simple vintage prayer cards to older Capuchin printings. You will also find St. Leopold Mandić, the Capuchin confessor of Padua, St. Faustina Kowalska, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Rita, St. Paul VI with a fragment of his vestment, and a rare card of Pope John Paul I. Alongside them are Italian Blesseds such as Innocenzo da Berzo, Conrad of Ascoli, Maria Celeste Crostarosa and Savina Petrilli.
A card is easy to keep in a missal, a Bible or a wallet, or to frame beside a home altar. Some are also blessed by Pope Leo XIV, and those ship with a holy card of the Papal blessing. This page is part of our full range of Catholic relics.
Frequently asked questions
What relic is in a holy card?
Usually a tiny fragment of cloth from the saint's clothing (ex indumentis), fixed to the card. Each listing describes what the card holds.
Why are the cards pre-owned?
Most are vintage cards printed decades ago and already kept by someone. Light wear, such as soft corners, is normal and part of their history.
How should I keep a relic card?
Keep it flat and dry, in a missal, a sleeve or a frame. Like any relic, it should never be thrown away.
