The pieces here are chosen with priests and religious in mind, and most are blessed by Pope Leo XIV at the Papal audience in St. Peter's Square and shipped from Rome with a holy card of the Papal blessing.

Crosses are the heart of this page. You will find replicas of the Good Shepherd cross Pope Francis wore, made by the Vedele workshop, in sizes from 1" to 4"; Sorrowful Mother crosses; budded crosses; and St. Benedict crucifixes in olive wood, dark wood and enamel, from 3" pieces to carry up to 7.5" crucifixes for a rectory wall or an office. The Pope Francis pieces are made in his honour and blessed by Pope Leo XIV.

For something smaller, there are lapel pins with the coat of arms of the Holy See, a St. Michael lapel pin, a wooden rosary with the Scorzelli crucifix, and the Chaplet of Deceased Priests, prayed for priests who have died. If several parishioners are giving together, a cross with its holy card of the Papal blessing makes a gift that is easy to present at a reception.

Frequently asked questions

What do you give a priest for his ordination?

A cross or crucifix is the most traditional gift, together with your prayers and a Mass intention. A pin with the Holy See coat of arms is a good choice for a smaller budget.

Are the Pope Francis crosses replicas?

Yes. Each is a replica of the cross Pope Francis wore, made by the Vedele workshop in his honour.

When should we order for an ordination?

Delivery to the US typically takes 2 to 3 weeks from Rome, so order a month before the ordination if you can.
